dear friends,

this morning i arrived at work, just a regular monday morning for me. i learned in the first few minutes that my co-worker and friend, derek, had left a message on our ministries' voicemail. hannah passed away last night. hannah is his daughter. she turned three on friday.

in the past six months, derek has also lost his mother and his stepfather. incredibly i've never seen him with any expression other than joy and contentment on his face. he always greets with a smile.

please pray for him and his family. as you pray for him, you might pray for yourself as well, that your faith would be as strong as his.
